This topless A3 has plenty of design cues that run through the entire A3 line. All this is based off the MQB architectural framework that parent company Volkswagen employs in many of its small body automobiles. In this model, Audi provides a sound-absorbent acoustic soft top or fabric top both of which close in 18 seconds.
The aluminum hybrid body ensures that the Audi A3 Cabriolet is lighter than many of its competitors in this class. At the front, the grille is a bit different from the previous models in the A3 family. Here, Audi employs double bars to make up its high-gloss Singleframe grille. There are contours over the body to enhance the look of the cabriolet, as well as chrome highlights to the exhaust pipes.
There is reasonably enough space in the front of the A3 Cabriolet though the rear passengers will find themselves a bit cramped on longer journeys. The interior is good to look at, especially with the introduction of aluminum mistral inlays.
The comfortable leather seats match well with the leather bound three-spoke steering wheel. Driving with this is made easier by the Audi virtual cockpit which shows up in the form of a fully digital 12.3 inch screen that offers both navigation and infotainment.
